Forget haunted houses and horror-movie marathons--this Halloween, the best place to be is at a concert, and Boston has plenty going on, from chart-topping rock bands to hip-hop groups. So, guys and ghouls get your costume picked out, grab your tickets and let the music put a spell on you this Halloween.

Fall Out Boy

TD Garden - 100 Legends Way, Boston, MA 02114

Dance like Uma Thurman with rock band Fall Out Boy, kicking off Halloween weekend on Friday. Oct. 27 when their M.A.N.I.A. Tour stops by TD Garden--hopefully, the tour will hold fans over while they wait for the band's new album, pushed back to a January release. Tickets are on sale now, ranging from $46 to $129. Can't make it? They'll also be playing Detroit a week before Halloween. No matter which show, be sure you know all the words to Fall Out Boy's latest single, "The Last of the Real Ones," released last month.

Our Lady Peace

See '90s rock band Our Lady Peace celebrating the 20th anniversary of Clumsy, released in 1997. Tickets are on sale now, ranging from $38 to $69. Can't make it? You can also catch the band in Phoenix on the following day, Oct. 25.

You can always count on the House of Blues to have some live music, and the venue is kicking off Halloween weekend on Friday, Oct. 27 with a show from Josh Ritter, who's out on tour is support of his latest album, Gathering, released last month. Tickets are on sale now, ranging from $30 to $42.

Check out Las Vegas rock band Imagine Dragons, closing out Halloween weekend on Sunday, Oct. 29. Tickets are on sale now, starting at $65. In addition to hitting the road, the band has also been busy giving back, as they recently teamed up with Life Is Beautiful, VH1 Save the Music Foundation, and Toyota to award the Vegas schools with $40,000 in grants for music education.

Cypress Hill

Spend your Halloween with hip-hop group Cypress Hill, out on the road for a brief, three-city Haunted Hill Tour. They'll stop by the House of Blues--always the perfect choice for live music. In the meantime, the group is still working on their ninth album, Elephants on Acid, although a release date has yet to be announced.
