Forget haunted houses and horror-movie marathons. This Halloween, the best place to be is at a concert, and Indianapolis has plenty going on. From beloved rock bands to annual tribute acts celebrating some of rock's icons there's something for everyone. So, guys and ghouls, get your costume picked out, grab your tickets and let the music put a spell on you this Halloween.

Check out band Mutemath, along with Colony House and Romes, in support of their latest album, Play Dead--and they've appropriately called the tour Play Dead Live. Tickets are on sale now, ranging from $20 to $30, making it an affordable way to have a night out.

Flogging Molly

Life Is Good for Celtic punk band Flogging Molly, now on a tour of the same name in support of their latest album, with support from Radkey and Jon Snodgrass. They'll bring it to Indianapolis' The Vogue on Oct. 26. Tickets are on sale now for $38.

Although Fleetwood Mac fans shouldn't expect any new music from the legendary band anytime soon, the duo of Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie has released some new music of their own and taken the songs on the road. They'll kick off Halloween weekend on Friday, Oct. 27 with a concert at Old National Centre, undoubtedly performing their new material and the Fleetwood Mac sons fans love. Tickets are on sale now, starting at $39. Get ready for the show with "Lay Down for Free," one of the new tracks.

Halloween is all about dressing up, so it's only fitting that some of rock's biggest, most influential names are celebrated with an annual cover show performed by local bands. This year's show features tributes to Iggy Pop & the Stooges, The Adicts, GG Alin, Garbage, and Oingo Boingo. Access to the full night of music will only set you back 10 bucks.
