Headliner Update: Rick Ross slated for Icelantic's Winter on the Rocks in place of Mac Miller

Rapper Rick Ross has joined the lineup for Icelantic’s Winter on the Rocks in place of Mac Miller, who unfortunately had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. The show is now a "Winter on the Ross" if you will. Rick Ross will join DJ and producer Jauz as co-headliner as well as Minnesota rapper Brother Ali as direct support. Icelantic’s Winter on the Rocks takes place at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Friday, Jan. 26, 2018. You can find tickets to the event by following this link. All previously purchased tickets with Mac Miller printed on them will be honored.

Rick Ross burst on the scene in 2006 with his album Port of Miami, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Since then Ross has released eight more studio albums including his latest, 2017’s Rather You Than Me. Ross has also said that the second installment in the Port of Miami series, Port of Miami 2: Born to Kill is reportedly in the works.

While Mac Miller will be missed, Rick Ross is a welcome addition to an already stellar lineup for the 7th annual Icelantic Winter on the Rocks. New to the event this year is The Outdoor Retailer Fashion Show, which will take place during the concert. You don’t want to miss this Colorado tradition when it returns to Red Rocks on Jan. 26, 2018.
