Hip-hop superstars Cardi B and Offset welcomed their precious baby girl into the world on July 10. The proud parents celebrated their daughter’s birth via a pair of Instagram posts bearing her name Kulture Kiari Cephus with her daddy gushing “Kulture My Princess” following her arrival.
The newborn is named after her father as Offset’s name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus. Offset has two sons and a daughter from previous relationships, while Kulture is the first child for Cardi B and the recently-wed couple’s first child together.
Cardi B revealed her pregnancy during her SNL musical guest stint earlier this year. She followed that appearance up by making history as the first-ever co-host of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” During her co-hosting gig, comedian John Mulaney brought her a tiny sweater, which he dubbed a “Cardi G” for her impending bundle of joy.
The brand-new mommy has been busy breaking more records in the months leading up to Kulture’s birth. Most recently, she became the first female rapper to land two No. 1 hit singles on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart when her hot summer single “I Like It” featuring Bad Bunny and J Balvin soared to the top of the chart. It follow’s Cardi B’s chart-topping breakout hit, “Bodak Yellow,” which also claimed the top spot on the chart.
Cardi B played at Coachella this year and Offset will join Migos on a North American tour with Drake in late July. Check out the proud parents’ birth announcements below and stay tuned to AXS for updates.
