Hollywood Undead announce 'FIVE' and fall tour dates

Rap-metal group Hollywood Undead will be heading out across North America for a 48-date tour this fall. Announced on Monday (July 24) morning, the lengthy fall tour will start on Sept. 30 with their scheduled performance at Louisville’s Louder Than Life Festival and wrap up on Dec. 7 in Tucson, Arizona. Fellow L.A.-based metal group Butcher Babies will join as the tour's support act.

The three month run of shows will help promote the band’s upcoming fifth studio album, which is appropriately titled V [or Five]. The upcoming LP is set for release on Oct. 27, and its first single, “California Dreaming,” was released on Monday to give fans a preview of more madness to come.

“We’re five brothers, and this is our fifth record,” singer Johnny 3 Tears said about their upcoming studio effort. “Nothing gets to the essence of the music like this number does. Numerology has a lot of power. When we said Five, it just made sense. The fact that we could all agree on one word codifies who we are. It also nods back to ‘No. 5’ from our first album, because it was our fifth song. Moreover, it hints at this secret society of fans supporting us for the past decade. The number is significant, and this is a significant moment for us.”

Tickets for select shows on their upcoming fall tour will be going on sale starting this Friday, July 28, and can be purchased by clicking here.
