Howie Mandel, Preacher Lawson bringing laughs to Atlanta Symphony Hall

Howie Mandel can be seen every Tuesday as one of the judges on NBC's reality show "America's Got Talent" but comedy fans can see him live on Friday, September 28 at Atlanta Symphony Hall on his co-headlining tour with Preacher Lawson. AXS has your tickets to this double dose of stand-up comedy, and tickets go on sale this Friday, June 29 at 12 p.m. local time.

Though Mandel is known more for "America's Got Talent" and hosting the game show "Deal or No Deal," he began his career as a stand-up comedian and has continued to perform stand-up for decades. As a comedian, he performed multiple times on NBC's "The Tonight Show," first with Johnny Carson and then doing several hidden camera segments during the Jay Leno era. Mandel has toured nationwide as well as overseas; you can watch a clip of him performing during the WWE Salute to the Troops in 2015 by playing the video above.

His co-headliner for this tour is "America's Got Talent" season 12 contestant Preacher Lawson. Lawson made it to the "America's Got Talent" finals last year as one of the Top 10 acts, but did not place within the Top 5. However, he did perform with Mandel during the season finale, and was so popular that NBC brought him back to teach the basics of stand-up comedy in a video on the show's YouTube channel earlier this month. Lawson and Mandel already have that experience working together, and chances are that audiences who have seen one also at least know of the other, so this is an excellent pairing for comedy fans looking for some big - and family friendly - laughs this fall.

Tickets for Howie Mandel and Preacher Lawson at Atlanta Symphony Hall go on sale Friday, June 29 at 12 p.m. local time through the AXS event page. Ticket prices and details have not been announced; however, this is an all ages show. For more upcoming events at Atlanta Symphony Hall, visit the venue page at AXS.
