Put your dancing shoes on: famed Boston dance party "the pill" is returning for a 20th anniversary weekend. Known as one of the most iconic dance parties in the U.S., the pill served as a cornerstone in the Massachusetts club scene from the late '90s to its closing in 2013. Four years after shuttering, it will return for a two-night affair at the Great Scott on Oct. 6 and 7.

The 20th anniversary weekend will feature some of the founding fathers of the dance party, including co-founder DJ Jen and DJs Ken and Michael V. Night two will see Lifestyle and other "very special guests" perform at the intimate venue. Being dubbed a "modern indie dance party," the shows will blend DJ Jen's 60s soul and Brit pop for two nights of unforgettable music.

Tickets for both shows are now on sale via AXS.com and start from $10 each. Doors for the 21+ shows open at 9:30 p.m. both nights.
