Imagine Dragons release new single 'Levitate'

To tide fans over between albums Imagine Dragons have released a new single entitled "Levitate." It's the second single they have put out this year, and it's featured the soundtrack for the upcoming movie "Passengers." The song became available to download today (Nov. 29) and you can watch the music video above. 

The "Levitate" music video does not feature any of the Imagine Dragons band members. Instead, it only features scenes from the movie "Passengers." The video is labeled as the "official video" but the entire song is not featured on it. The track "Levitate" is just over three minutes long, and the song's video is just over a minute long. 

The movie stars Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt. It's set to be released in theaters on Dec. 21. According to the press release sent out today, the movie is about, "Two strangers who are on a 120-year journey to another planet when their hibernation pods wake them 90 years too early."

Imagine Dragons are currently between albums. Their second and most recent album, Smoke + Mirrors came out in February 2015. No word on when their third studio album will be released. Earlier this year they did put out a new single entitled "Sucker for Pain," which is featured on the "Suicide Squad" soundtrack.
