This weekend over 3300 guitar lover’s from around the world gathered at the PRS Guitar Factory in Stevensville, Maryland for Experience PRS 2018. Fans were buzzing with excitement, thrilled with the opportunity to see what goes on behind the doors at PRS. The two fun-filled days were packed with factory tours, instrument clinics, demos, meet and greets with artists, interactive areas to try out new products as well as live music performances.

The 9th annual Experience PRS event kicked off with an exclusive Signature Club cocktail and sales floor preview hour. This was followed by an open-to-the-public concert which featured PRS artists. In addition to the informative clinics and incredible performances by PRS artists, there were some of the most exquisite guitars ever seen for sale, including unique one-off Private Stocks and of limited edition guitars released at the show. As a special treat this year, PRS invited musician, guitar teacher, and YouTuber Tyler Larson of Music Is Win at Experience to film behind-the-scenes video content. Check it out on the PRS Guitars social channels.

The weather did take a turn, but PRS has the reputation for impeccable customer service. This care and attention was evident at Experience PRS 2018 too. Tubs with free water bottles were available for attendees throughout the premises to ensure everyone was able to stay well hydrated in the heat and humidity. When the skies opened up with a quick thunderstorm, Paul Reed Smith himself was out in the downpour ensuring everyone was escorted into the factory building for safety till the storm passed. One of our favorite moments of Experience PRS 2018 was watching Paul watch the concert performances. His face was filled with the excitement of a kid on Christmas morning. This is a man who truly loves what he does (click here for Paul Reed Smith interview). For more information about PRS Guitars or the PRS Guitar Factory tours visit the PRS Guitars website.
