Full guitar stacks, ripping distortion and some Jazzmaster twang in between. It's the iconic sound Dinosaur Jr. frontman J Mascis has perfected over the last 30-plus years, and it can be yours later this month. Mascis is partnering with online gear store Reverb to sell dozens of pieces from his personal rig beginning Tuesday, Oct. 31.

The collection features over 100 items from Mascis' studio, ranging from pre-war acoustic guitars to purple-colored amps and drum kits. Vintage equipment reigns supreme in the shop, with items from Martin, Fender, Marshall, Gibson and C&C all being auctioned off.

Mascis is the latest musician to team up with Reverb to sell unique gear and equipment. Previous artists that have put their items up on the online auction block include Smashing Pumpkins singer Billy Corgan, Wilco, Jimmy Chamberlain and Bill Ward.

Mascis discussed his initial reluctance to sell his gear, though he claims space is tight in his personal studio. "Plus, if I can get this gear into a good home, I’ll have more room to buy some more stuff," he told Reverb.

Dinosaur Jr. are currently on tour in the U.S. through the end of the month. They'll make four more stops in Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan and Pennsylvania over the next five days with supporting act Easy Action
