Popular British singer/guitarist James Bay has officially announced the title and release date for his upcoming sophomore album. Electric Light will follow 2015’s Grammy-nominated Chaos and the Calm when it arrives via Republic Records on May 18. In addition to detailing the artwork, release date and tracklisting for Electric Light on Wednesday, Bay also shared the album’s second single, “Pink Lemonade,” and revealed more tour dates, which can also be referenced in the listed schedule below.

The 30 newly added concert dates pick up where his previously announced North American spring run drops off come April. The U.K. and short European leg will take the singer across his native country starting on May 27, and running until June 29 before coming over to North America with shows throughout September and October. The second North American leg later in the year will see Bay visiting both large and smaller markets across the U.S. and Canada, with notable scheduled shows at Salt Lake City’s Union Event Center and Seattle’s Paramount Theatre to name a few.

“If I had to describe my first album visually it would probably be a flame - while this new album is about a real sonic and artistic evolution for me,” Bay added in a statement to go with Wednesday’s album/tour announcement. “The feeling of a 100 watt bulb expanding and brightening is what I envisioned. Electric Light came to my mind and I knew it was perfect.”

The start of a new album cycle is certainly an exciting time for both Bay and his fans. In addition to sharing some new music and a shorter hairstyle, the 27-year-old will look to improve on his already impressive resume, that includes a 2016 Grammy nomination for "Best New Artist."
