Janine announces spring 2019 performance at The Roxy

The Auckland, New Zealand-born and bred singer/songwriter, Janine, once known as Janine and the Mixtape, is making a name for herself amongst the music industry's elite. Prior to signing to Atlantic Records in 2015, Janine released several EPs and singles before her hit-single "Hold Me" was featured on an episode of Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta. Janine's song caught the attention of the Love & Hip-Hop audience and found its way to the top the charts, boosting her value as an independent artist.

Since then, Janine has released her debut album, 99, in May 2018 and become a relevant act in the R&B realm with the nearly flawless eleven-track project containing no fillers. Janine's vocal range, voice texture, and breath control are to be admired while her atmospheric '90s R&B influences can be heard exhibited through her artistry. Now that Janine is based in Brooklyn and cultivated a stateside following, the "Don't Love Me" singer is preparing a one-time performance at the legendary Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles, California on Sunday, April 14.
