Japanese Breakfast announces 2019 tour dates
YouTube

The one-woman band known as Japanese Breakfast consisting of its sole member, Michelle Zauner, is single-handedly reminding the masses why the inclusion of different ethnic groups and peoples is important in spaces dominated by the majority in creative spaces. At the very same time, Zauner as an individual has let it be known quite clear to never veer too far away from the traditions and customs of your ancestry in order to assimilate to the traditions of the general public. Zauner's experimental aesthetic and sound is captivating while the melancholy musical content in conjunction with her forward-thinking production and instrumentation keeps listeners entranced. Thus allowing Japanese Breakfast to become one of the indie scene's most revered acts today.

The Oregonian-bred Korean-American musical act has been able to accumulate quite the following since her arrival on the music scene in 2013 and with only two full-length solo musical projects under her belt, the "Jane Cum" performer is preparing to embark on a multi-continental tour throughout the first half of the new year.
