Fresh on the heels of announcing his first new album in four years--and making the bold statement of switching his name up to all caps--JAY-Z has unveiled plans for a number of listening parties for fans to check out 4:44 in advance. As Pitchfork reported, the listening parties will take place on June 29 ahead of the album’s scheduled drop on June 30. Guest hosts will be playing 4:44 at specific Sprint stores in major markets like New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta and more. Follow this link for a full list of cities and participating Sprint stores.
After the album’s release on June 30, 4:44 will be available exclusively on JAY-Z’s streaming platform, TIDAL, and to Sprint customers. The communications conglomerate recently purchased a 33 percent share in the streaming service. 4:44 is the follow up to 2013’s Magna Carta Holy Grail.
