Jazz in the Gardens, one of Miami’s signature annual outdoor music festivals, will be returning for its 13th year this spring, and is set to feature headlining performances by Anita Baker, Chaka Khan, Trombone Shorty, Motown icon Smokey Robinson and many more. Announced earlier this week, the two-day event will take place at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens on March 17-18, and will be hosted by well-known comedian and radio personality Rickey Smiley. Tickets for the event went on sale today (Dec. 8). You can grab them by clicking below.
The springtime event, which annually welcomes fantastic artists from the worlds of jazz, R&B, soul and gospel music, continues to grow since since starting back in 2006. Their upcoming 2018 lineup looks to do the same as we head into a new year full of fantastic festivals across the country. Other artists scheduled to perform at next year’s Jazz in the Gardens include 2004 American Idol winner Fantasia, Salt-N-Pepa, Kid ‘N Play, Trick Daddy, Joe, Pieces of a Dream and Tasha Cobbs just to name a few.
This will be Smokey Robinson’s first time performing at the Miami event, and will certainly be one of the highly anticipated sets throughout the weekend that fans won’t want to miss. Speaking of missing out, anyone who hopes to make it to Jazz in the Gardens this spring should look to buy their tickets as soon as possible, as up to 70,000 attendees are expected to arrive at the Hard Rock Stadium over the two days.
