The 2017 Billboard Latin Music Awards held last night at the University of Miami Watsco Center featured an evening full of surprises, music, awards and fashion. One of the most anticipated moments was the participation of Jennifer Lopez who was the last artist announced, not only for an exclusive performance but also as a recipient of a prestigious award.

The Bronx-born artist chose the Billboard Latin Music Awards to give her fans a second preview of what her new Spanish album will entail; but before she took the stage, all eyes were set on what Jennifer Lopez was going to wear during the celebrity red carpet presentation. As it is accustomed, Lopez was one of the last artists to take her spot on the carpet for interviews and photos. It was no surprise the Latin-American artist slayed it once again. Dressed in a black cut out long gown by designer Julien Macdonald, Lopez definitely still has the body to flaunt it at 47 years of age.

Lopez had two more times to shine on the Billboard Latin Music Award’s stage once the award show started. The diva was first awarded the Social Artist of the Year Award in which she out beat Enrique Iglesias, Maluma and Shakira. The awards didn’t stop there as she was also honored by Telemundo with the 2017 Star Award.

Finally, Jennifer Lopez closed out her presence at the Billboard Latin Music Awards with a stupendous ballad interpretation of her latest single titled “Mirate.” The ballad, written exclusively for Lopez by Puerto Rican artist Kany Garcia, will be included on her fourth Spanish album.

Congrats are in order for Jennifer Lopez for her achievements, awards, performance and, of course, shining once again.
