Jenny Lewis to collaborate with Ringo Starr and Beck for 'On the Line’ LP

Jenny Lewis is coming back with her fourth solo album, and she’s bringing out the big toys for this monumental effort.

According to Rolling Stone, Lewis, who was the former frontwoman for the band Rilo Kiley, has a working title for her latest project, On the Line. The LP, to be released by Warner Bros. Records, will feature a number of heavy hitters, from Ringo Starr to Benmont Tench, the former keyboardist for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

The new LP follows on the heels of her thrid-LP, The Voyager, which became a number four smash on the Billboard 200, and affirmed to Lewis that she could be a consistent hitmaker as a solo artist.  The announcement of the On The Line LP wasn’t the only surprise Lewis revealed for her fans, as it was also announced that, starting in March of next year, Lewis will embark on a 26-city tour, starting in Bloomington, IL and wrapping up in America’s Finest City, San Diego, California.

In between, Lewis and her backing band will hit some of the largest music markets in North America, so her music will reach as many fans as possible, and, hopefully, attract new fans, as it should.
