Jessie Reyez has been writing and making music since 2014 but caught a lot of attention when Zane Lowe played her 2017 single “Figures” on his popular Beats 1 radio show. Her debut EP, Kiddo, followed which was Long Listed for a 2017 Polaris Music Prize. She also scored four Juno Award nominations for the collection.

She released her second EP, Being Human in Public in October 2018. The set earned the R&B/Soul Recording of the Year at the 2019 Juno Awards. She followed that success by collaborating with Eminem on two tracks for his Kamikaze album. They teamed up two tracks that cracked Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, “Nice Guy” and “Good Guy.”

Reyez has kicked off the new decade with even more impressive accolades. She notably earned her first Grammy nomination when Being Human in Public picked up a nod for Best Urban Company Album at the 2020 Grammy Awards. She snagged two more Juno Award nominations this year, for Artist of the Year and R&B/Soul Recording of the Year for her Tory Lanez and Tainy collab single “Feel It Too.”

There’s just no stopping the Canadian native artist’s star from rising as she looks toward the release of her debut album Before Love Came To Kill Us on March 27. Jessie Reyez will perform her new tracks live to her fans at venues around the world on her first major headlining tour.
