Jim Gaffigan sets out on nationwide 'Noble Ape Tour'

Jim Gaffigan is getting back out on the road with another creatively named showcase of live comedy, and this time he's really going to be racking up the frequent flier miles. Gaffigan's "Noble Ape Tour" starts on April 8 in University Park, PA and ends on New Year's Eve in Tampa, FL, with select tour dates on sale beginning Friday, April 7 at AXS.

The "Noble Ape Tour" not only keeps the critically acclaimed comedian and actor on stage for most of 2017 but it's a different tour in that Gaffigan has booked select cities in which he'll be performing for an entire block of dates. He'll be live in Austin, TX for three shows in two days (April 22-23), in Las Vegas, NV for two days (May 6-7), in Los Angeles, CA for four shows over two days (Sept. 8-9), in New York, NY for four shows in three days (Sept. 28-30), in Chicago for two days with two shows apiece (Oct. 13-14) and in Boston, MA for four days encompassing six shows (Oct. 18-21).

There are also quite a few international dates, which is particularly entertaining since Gaffigan's last special "Cinco" featured a hilarious bit on international travel that you can watch now using the media player included with this article.

His "Noble Ape Tour" is in delightful contrast to most tours, where the performer stops in a city on one date and plays one show. Gaffigan is definitely doing his best to make sure that fans in every major market not only have an opportunity to see him live, but have several dates to choose from. Essentially, the only thing he's not doing is showing up at fans' houses (who knows, maybe that'll be the 2018 tour). If you're a Jim Gaffigan enthusiast you truly have no excuse not to see him perform live this year.

Select dates on the "Noble Ape Tour" are on sale through AXS using the links below, starting April 7. For dates that are not available through AXS, tickets are on sale through Gaffigan's website.
