Joe Jackson announces Four Decade tour 2019

Joe Jackson will hit the road once again in 2019. The 5-time Grammy nominee will be celebrating four decades of music with a brand new studio album Fool, which will drop Jan. 18 2019 via Earmusic.

The multi-platinum seller unveiled the big news on Oct. 9 via Twitter and other social media. The massive world tour will take the “Something's Going on Around Here” hitmaker across North America and overseas through Europe in 2019 from early February through late April.

The eclectic singer-songwriter's new show will focus on material five albums from across his storied career with each one representing a decade along with a few surprise additions. Jackson's album selections include: Look Sharp (1979),  Night And Day (1982),  Laughter and Lust (1991),  Rain (2008) and his upcoming effort Fool (2019).

The Four Decade Tour will launch in on Feb. 5 in Knoxville, TN, at Bijou Theatre. The veteran British artist will hit numerous major cities with stops in Atlanta, Chicago and New York before wrapping up the North American leg on March 9 in Phoenix at Orpheum Theatre.

Jackson and band will then head overseas for spring romp through Europe, which kicks off March 16 in Antwerp, Belgium, at De Roma. Major city stops include Berlin, Paris and London before wrapping up April 24 in Dublin at Olympia Theatre.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, Oct. 12 at 10:00 a.m. local time. Fans will receive a digital download of the new album Fool with each online ticket purchased. Grab your tickets now at AXS.

Produced by Jackson along with Pat Dillett, Fool is Jackson's long-awaited follow up to 2015 studio album Fast Forward.
