John Legend and Ariana Grande join voices for the new rendition of ‘Beauty and the Beast’

The “Beauty and the Beast” title song of 1991 first recorded by Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson will get a makeover. Well more so a do over by the talented Grammy nominee and multi-winner Ariana Grande and John Legend respectively.

The new rendition of the Disney classic is for “Beauty and the Beast” forthcoming soundtrack to the live-action film adaptation and it will also be featured in its original motion picture soundtrack and film. Although the latter will be released March 10 by Walt Disney Records, it currently can be pre-ordered here. As for the movie, it will be released March 17 throughout theaters in the United States.

The “Beauty and the Beast” new version is produced by Ron Fair a Grammy winner veteran along with Mitchell Leib who contacted John Legend and Ariana Grande for the vocals. It will be Dave Meyers who will direct “Beauty and the Beast” music video; he recently directed P!ink’s video “Just Like Fire” for Alice Through The Looking Glass soundtrack. Furthermore, the film will include new recordings of the original songs and three new songs written by Menken and Tim Rice.
