Traveling back to prehistoric times to get a glimpse of actual dinosaurs remains in the realm of science fiction (for now). The next best thing? A visit to Dinosaur Time Trek: Shark Edition.

The interactive travelling exhibition--which features life-sized models of dinosaurs along with a number of fun, educational exhibits--will be coming to the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver on Dec. 2-3. As its name suggests, this version of the popular attraction will have a special focus on sharks, another staple of any child's imagination. Tickets for the event go on sale this Friday, Oct. 27; follow this link to get yours right here on AXS.com.

According to the exhibit's official website, Dinosaur Time Trek "is all about hands-on family fun!"

"At Dinosaur Time Trek  you’ll be transported through our special Time Lab where you can observe enormous prehistoric dinosaurs, track modern day sharks in real-time, or glimpse mythological, magical dragons," the site promises. "Kids will love the larger-than-life creatures, and activities like Design-a-Dino, Prehistoric Poop, or the Race Through Time Labyrinth will keep everyone entertained."

Kids under the age of 3 get in for free and there are discounts for seniors over 65, so gather up the entire family for this amazing interactive exhibit. Click here to get your tickets to Dinosaur Time Trek: Shark Edition on Saturday, Dec. 2 and Sunday, Dec. 3.
