Julien Baker announces lengthy fall tour
Colombe

Music’s favorite melancholy singer-songwriter Julien Baker has extended her already busy 2017 schedule by announcing a massive 41-date tour that will take her across North America, U.K. and Europe this fall. The run of shows will start on Oct. 12 in Atlanta and wraps up as the year itself starts to come to a close on Dec. 20 in Dallas.

Announced on Monday, Julien’s international tour could see her throwing some new material into the set list each night, as the young guitarist and singer from Tennessee should hopefully be releasing her follow up to 2015’s Sprained Ankle by the end of the year. Baker was signed to Matador Records back in January, and has released a pair of singles through her new label so far with “Funeral Pyre” and “Distant Solar Systems.” There’s been no official announcement on a new LP as of yet, but her label did tweet out that a new album is on the way.

Baker is currently touring across Australia throughout the rest of the week, before heading back for more North American summer dates starting on July 27. Fans can catch her at Denver’s Bluebird Theater on Aug. 7 by clicking here.

Tickets to select shows on Baker’s upcoming tour will be going on sale starting this Friday, July 21, and can be purchased by clicking here.
