Released on November 13, 2015, Purpose debuted at number one in over 100 countries.  The singles “What Do You Mean,” “Sorry,” and “Love Yourself” all hit number one in the U.S. and landed at number one, two, and three in the UK respectively, breaking a record previously held by The Beatles.  But that wasn’t the only record Bieber broke, far from it.  Purpose and its singles shattered eight Guinness World Records including most streamed album on Spotify in one week and most streamed song, “What Do You Mean,” in one week.  2015 and 16 were big years for the Biebs not only commercially but also critically.  It will be interesting to see what he does next.
