Kacey Musgraves has announced four new West Coast dates on her sold-out Oh, What a World: Tour II. Due to high demand, the six-time Grammy-winning artist’s tour will now wind through Las Vegas and San Diego. It also includes two stops at the legendary Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on Aug. 23 and Aug. 25.
Presales for all shows began at 10 a.m. local time today (April 22) and presales for both L.A. shows are on sale now at AXS. General public onsales begin this Friday, April 26, also at 10 a.m. local time.
Kacey Musgraves has enjoyed massive success with her critically-acclaimed third studio album, Golden Hour. Dropping last March, the album topped Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart in the U.S. and the Country Albums chart in the U.K. It also debuted at No. 4 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart.
Furthermore, the Texas native singer-songwriter won all four of Golden Hour’s Grammy nominations, including the coveted 2019 Album of the Year Grammy Award. She notably snagged Album of the Year at this year's Grammys, the 2018 CMA Awards, and the 2019 ACM Awards.
In achieving this feat, Musgraves became the only artist to win all three of these Album of the Year honors since Taylor Swift did so in 2010. Plus, she’s also the third artist in music history overall to do this.
Musgraves candidly admitted being proud of women releasing such great music within the past year. She also performed a stunning rendition of her inspirational track “Rainbow” at the Grammy Awards this year. (Watch it above).
In her live shows, the "Space Cowboy" songstress delivers a dazzling blend of charisma, wit, high-energy and emotional depth. She also loves engaging her captive live audience. The added live show announcement comes fresh on the heels of her acclaimed Coachella debut.
