Kelly Clarkson knows how to put on a great show and during a recent concert she brought her stepson up on stage to help her out. On Wednesday, Taste of Country shared about how he came up to help with her own "Uptown Funk" mashup and it was a great version of the song. This all went down at her show in Hershey, Pennsylvania this week. It was the start of her new tour.
She performed a mashup of her hit "Walk Away" and the pop mega-hit "Uptown Funk" by Bruno Mars. Clarkson is now married to Brandon Blackstock, Reba's stepson, and she brought out her own stepson Seth Blackstock to help her with this version of the song. The song "Walk Away" is one that she has been doing for about 13 years and Clarkson decided it was time to step things up a bit.
Clarkson had each half of the audience singing one song. Seth came out on stage and joined right in with the background singers. His grandma Reba loved it so much that she posted it on her Instagram page to share it with the world. Along with the video, Reba said "Look out world!!! Seth Blackstock making his stage debut!!!! #goSeth #goingoutlikethat." This was a great addition to the show that is for sure and fans will be hoping that he shows back up on stage again soon.
Kelly Clarkson is now out on her "Piece By Piece" tour. This was one of the first concerts for that tour and she started it out great. Her newest album is climbing the Billboard charts, but this was a pop album and not a country one. Fans of this "American Idol" winner are ready for another country album from her and hopefully it comes soon. Clarkson is great at no matter what kind of genre she is singing.
