Pop superstar Kelly Clarkson released a video of herself on Oct. 14 slipping into a Target store. She got excited about picking up a copy of her children's book, "River Rose and the Magical Lullaby."

It's been a big year for Clarkson. She scored a Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hit with "Piece by Piece" back in March and announced signing with new label Arista in June to record a soulful album. Outside of the music, Kelly became a published author with the release of her children's book, "River Rose and the Magical Lullaby." The story inspired by her 2-year-old daughter made the New York Times' bestseller list this week.

For fans who don't know, Target is carrying signed copies of "River Rose and the Magical Lullaby" in limited stock. Clarkson put out a video where she hits up one of the stores in search of the book. "I always buy every album that I come out with so now I'm gonna buy every book right when it comes out," she said with a smile. Absolute adorableness ensues during her quick trip to Target.

"River Rose and the Magical Lullaby" was released on Oct. 4. For the book, Clarkson wrote and recorded a beautiful lullaby that's available on iTunes and Apple Music. River Rose is lucky to have one of the greatest voices in music as a mom to sing her songs at bedtime.
