Kelly Clarkson releases covers 'Bang, Bang' and 'We Found Love' from tours

Kelly Clarkson is keeping her word to take to Facebook Live to talk to fans and answer questions while also releasing soundboard recordings from her previous tours. On Sept. 30, she began the segment introducing her children's book "River Rose and the Magical Lullaby" due in stores Oct. 4. Always full of giggles and light, she says she didn't plan on creating a children's book but wrote short stories for her daughter while traveling to promote sixth album Piece by Piece. "My daughter is over there. She was going to be in the shot with me but she decided to be two [years old]. I don't fit into her schedule today," she chuckled.

She told viewers that she will be making the TV circuit rounds to promote the book which includes appearances on "Ellen," "The View," "Rachel Ray" and "Late Night with Seth Meyers." "And I'm not singing. It's really weird," she said in the video. The new book also features a lullaby she wrote to sing to River Rose and she sang it for Facebook Live. At first feeling embarrassed, she gleefully twirls and says, "Did you hear the birds chirping. It's because I'm singing. I'm Snow White, y'all!"

Clarkson first began the live streaming to introduce her new contract with Atlantic Records and sang "soulful" songs each day leading up to the announcement. She also announced the idea to release live cover songs from tour via every last Friday of the month. She uploaded the soundboard recording of "Bang, Bang" originally by Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj and Jessie J. The track was her standard cover for the entire Piece by Piece Tour in 2015. The song is mostly performed by her backup singers before coming out to wail, Clarkson's favorite past time. The other cover released is Rihanna's "We Found Love" that was performed as the fan request in 2012 during the second leg of the Stronger Tour. In the live feed, she stated she loves singing Rihanna songs as seen in August's video ("Love on the Brain").

Also with each Friday, Clarkson has been releasing a video to accompany the music downloads that can be saved by right clicking. It features a behind the scenes of performing with the Boston Pops.

During the Facebook stream, she also touched briefly on recording her seventh non-holiday album and first with the new record deal. She let viewers know the team has been working hard on recording and it's coming along "amazing."
