Music fans now know what one of Kelly Clarkson's favorite TV shows is. The "Invincible" singer took to Instagram on Wednesday to post her family's 2015 Christmas card, which pays homage to the hit HBO fantasy series "Game of Thrones."

The photo features Clarkson, her husband Brandon Blackstock, daughter River Rose and step-children Seth and Savannah giving the camera their best dramatic faces, with the show's slogan "Winter is Coming" prominent in the background. Their family is soon to expand, as Clarkson revealed in August that she and Blackstock are expecting their second baby together.

The first "American Idol" winner is no stranger to having fun with pop culture. For Christmas two years ago, she starred in her own television special entitled "Kelly Clarkson's Cautionary Christmas Music Tale," in which Clarkson played a fictional character seeking to revive a fading music career and instead learning the true meaning of the holiday. George Clooney, William Shatner and Danica Patrick were among her guest stars for the show, which attracted more than five million viewers.

This year, she has plenty to celebrate. Her latest album, Piece by Piece, was released on Feb. 27 and garnered Clarkson two Grammy Award nominations - Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance for the single "Heartbeat Song." The record soared to number one on the Billboard 200, and registered on more than a dozen other charts around the world.

It also represents an important milestone in the reality TV world. As her seventh studio album, Piece by Piece was the last record left on Clarkson's post-"Idol" recording contract with RCA and 19 Recordings. That made her the first "Idol" winner to ever successfully reach the end of their post-show agreement. To put that into further perspective, no winner from NBC's "The Voice" has ever released more than one record under their after-series contract with Universal Music Group.

The only bump in Clarkson's road this year was having to cancel a considerable portion of her corresponding concert tour to rest her voice. The final six American shows, plus dates in Canada and Europe were all called off on her doctor's orders, and tickets were refunded. But based on the creativity of this Christmas card, it seems like the singer is in great spirits.
