Not only is Kelly Clarkson promoting a new book titled "River Rose and the Magical Lullaby" and making the New York Times Best Sellers list in the Children's Picture Book category (No. 7), but she's heading to New York City to talk about empowerment. A theme natural to Clarkson, the S.H.E. Summit (She & He Helps Empower) conference takes place on 92nd Street and will be broadcasted live via HD live stream webcast and features a host of speakers. The group attending will talk about various topics on being a leader rather it be in family life, personal life or in a career.
Kelly Clarkson will be speaking during the "Invest Your Time in 'What Matters' Over 'Having It All' segment at 10:15 a.m. Clarkson is the Brand Ambassador for Citizen Watch and will be joined by Representative and vegan chef Chloe Coscarelli and Executive Vice President of Marketing Ellen Seckler, both for Citizen Watch as well. The segment will focus on becoming a stronger person by realizing technology has become so integrated that expectations of oneself rather by peer pressure or media is deteriorating precious time. The three-time Grammy winner is no stranger to being outspoken rather it be through her battle to control her career or through inspirational anthems like the Hot 100 No. 1 hit "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)." Clarkson stated for the S.H.E. Summit, "I am to be an unsinkable ship, but if I did happen to sink one day you can be certain no one else was steering my ship."
