Ballerini is a talented singer/songwriter and rising star who has scheduled 16 dates across the U.S. from Feb. 8 to April 27, with the final show of the tour scheduled for the Stagecoach Country Music Festival in Indio, California.
The “Peter Pan” singer is nominated for the 2017 CMA Award for Female Vocalist of the Year, alongside singers Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire, and Maren Morris. This is the third year she has been nominated in this category, a distinction which she calls honor in a statement on The Boot.
In addition to being one of the CMA nominees, the country-pop singer will be performing a duet with country legend Reba McEntire at the CMA Awards, which will be on Nov. 8 and televised live on CMT.
The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will feature Ballerini as a headliner for the televised Thanksgiving show, according to an announcement on Nov. 1. The parade will give the singer/songwriter more exposure and add to her rapidly ascending fame.
Ballerini’s sophomore album Unapologetically is due out Nov. 3. Her first album, The First Time, released in 2015, produced three breakout hits, “Peter Pan,” “Yeah Boy,” and “Dibs.”
The new album Unapologetically will include the songs “Miss Me More,” “High School,” “Legends,” “High School,” and more.
