Dust off your boots and get ready for some fun, because the Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM Awards) are returning to Las Vegas in just a little over a month. The annual awards show is set to take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on April 15, and its producers revealed on Wednesday that artists including Kelsea Ballerini, Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett will all be performing at this year’s ceremony.
As previously reported, the major country music event returns to the MGM Grand in 2018 after taking place just down the Vegas Strip at the T-Mobile Arena last year. Also on this year’s performance schedule includes country hotshots Maren Morris, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan and Miranda Lambert. The televised event will be hosted by "The Queen of Country" Reba McEntire when it airs live on CBS at 8 p.m. EST.
The nominees for this year’s ACM Awards were revealed earlier this month, and feature Chris Stapleton as the big frontrunner of the night with eight nominations, including “Entertainer of the Year” and “Album of the Year.” Performers Thomas Rhett and Kelsea Ballerini are also sharing a nomination for their collaborative “Craving You” in the “Vocal Event of the Year” category.
