King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard announces North American Tour 2019

When you release five albums in one year, you normally take a nice break from the recording studio. That's exactly what happened with Australian psychedelic rock King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard. After five grand albums in 2017, the band simply toured around the world last year. Last month, the band promised some new tunes, and they delivered with the new songs "Cyboogie" and "Acarine." This summer, they're heading back to North America to showcase some more new material.

Announced today, the band will kick off their tour with a trio of shows in California: Los Angeles' Greek Theatre on Aug. 13 and San Francisco's SVN West on Aug. 14 and Aug. 15. The tour will make its way across the country with stops inside The Depot in Salt Lake City on Aug. 20, Summerstage at Central Park in NYC on Aug. 28, Franklin Music Hall in Philadelphia on Aug. 30, Joy Theater in New Orleans on Sept. 3, and The Bomb Factory in Dallas on Sept. 6.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday (Feb. 8) at noon EST. The entire tour routing can be seen below.
