KQRC 98.9's Rockfest returns to Kansas City for its 25th year, announces lineup

America’s biggest one-day festival is back in 2016. Liberty Memorial in Kansas City will once again play host to Rockfest for it’s 25th year on Saturday, May 14 with a lineup that is sure to raise some eyebrows and get the adrenaline pumping. This year’s Rockfest lineup will include performances by Disturbed, Seether, HELLYEAH, Sixx:A.M., GHOST, Jackyl, Trivium, Sevendust, Drowning Pool, Escape the Fate, Pop Evil, Saint Asonia, Red Sun Rising, Like A Storm, and The Veer Union. Tickets for KQRC 98.9’s Rockfest go on sale Saturday, February 13 at 10:00 a.m. CST exclusively through AXS.com.

Rockfest has been a Kansas City tradition since 1992. It has steadily grown over the years and now boasts an attendance of over 60,000, giving the fest bragging rights as the largest one-day festival in the nation. The outdoor festival now boasts three stages—the Monster Energy Stage, Worth Harley Davidson Stage, and the Kansas City Stage—and over 12 hours of nonstop rock! Other fan perks include an autograph tent and Rockfest Wedding where you can tie the knot in front of 50,000 guests! Past headliners have included Godsmack, Staind, Stone Temple Pilots, Korn, and Alice in Chains.
