Singer/songwriter Kris Kristofferson has announced three tour dates in Florida in May. The Grammy Award-winning musician is sure to perform some of his popular hits when he hits Melbourne, Fort Lauderdale, and Jacksonville, Florida.
Kristofferson is acclaimed as a performer and a songwriter whose music has been performed by artists including Janis Joplin (“Me and Bobby McGee”), Johnny Cash (“Sunday Morning Coming Down”), Ray Price (“For The Good Times”), and Sammi Smith (“Help Me Make It Through The Night”). Kristofferson’s hit recordings include “Why Me,” “Lovin’ Her Was Easier (Than Anything I’ll Ever Do Again”), “To Beat The Devil,” “When I Loved Her,” “Sunday Mornin’ Coming Down,” and “The Silver Tongued Devil and I.”
He has been nominated for 13 Grammys and has won three Grammy Awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014. He was part of the country music supergroup The Highwaymen, along with his friends Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Willie Nelson.
