Summer only just ended, but it's already time to start thinking about 2019 shows--and Kurt Vile and The Violators just announced some spring dates.

After the band wraps up its current run in Europe in mid-November, they'll return to the States with a show at Brooklyn Steel and will tour through the end of December. After a break, they'll pick back up in February, with stops in Detroit, Denver, New Orleans, Birmingham, and Richmond. The opening act will be The Sadies. Prices vary by venue, but they range from $20 to $36, with tickets for select shows on sale now right here on AXS.

They'll also be among the first performers to play at the newly restored and reopened Met in Philadelphia.

Kurt Vile and The Violators are heading out in support of new album Bottle It In, due out Oct. 12. Fans got a preview of the new tunes with the chill but the nearly 10-minute-long song "Bassackwards," released last week. An additional song, "Loading Zones," was released last month--his first new solo release in three years. The album will also feature some pretty impressive guests, including Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon.

Bottle It In is available for pre-order now.
