Before the LA Clippers take on the Minnesota Timberwolves on Jan. 22, the first 10,000 fans in attendance will receive a Danilo Gallinari bobblehead, courtesy of Kia. The promotion features Gallinari dunking on the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy.
The Clippers have distributed several bobbleheads this year, with the Gallinari giveaway serving as the penultimate one. Fans will also receive a Blake Griffin bobblehead on March 6 before the Clippers take on the New Orleans Pelicans.
Gallinari has been productive while in a Clippers uniform this season, although injuries have hampered much of his year. A strained left glute, which was later revealed to be a partial tear, has limited the versatile forward to 11 games.
Gallinari signed with the Clippers during the offseason, where he figured to play a prominent role. His return will give head coach Doc Rivers another weapon as the team chases the playoffs, although the Clippers have not established a firm timetable.
