LA Galaxy announces TOGETHER AT HOME campaign to engage with community

The LA Galaxy has launched a club-wide initiative called the TOGETHER AT HOME campaign “to support, engage, and inform LA Galaxy fans and the Los Angeles community amidst effects from COVID-19.” 

LA Galaxy is partnering with various organizations across the Los Angeles community to support people who are impacted by COVID-19 through a number of important initiatives, all while practicing safe social distancing. Examples include Donating food items to LA Regional Food Bank. In teaming up with Victoria Block, the Galaxy has already donated over 300 pounds of food to the organization.

Furthermore, the team is launching Virtual Care Anywhere with Dignity Health, the official healthcare partner of the LA Galaxy. Via the effort, community members and fans can conduct virtual urgent care visits with Dignity Health 24/7. To help curb the spread of the coronavirus, people can diagnose symptoms from home. For more information and to sign up for virtual visits community members can go to the Virtual Care Anywhere website.

LA Galaxy player Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez is teaming up with athletes across the globe to help provide COVID-19 relief via athletesrelief.org. For a $25 donation, fans can enter to win an autographed Hernandez jersey. Proceeds will benefit the Center for Disaster Philanthropy (CDP) COVID-19 Response Fund.

In a FIFA charity challenge, Galaxy's eMLS player Giuseppe “The Godfather” Guastella faced-off against LAFC gamer RemiMartinn in an EA SPORTS FIFA 20 Twitch charity stream to raise money for LA Regional Food Bank.

Local rap icon and LA Galaxy fan MURS will treat social distancing fans around the world to a mini-concert on the LA Galaxy Instagram page. The date and further details are still TBD.

Finally, LA Galaxy fans can relive some of the club's greatest victories in their entirety during MLS Cup Mondays. Starting March 30, Galaxy fans can watch the teams five MLS Cup wins in full on LAGalaxy.com. The team will also host virtual sessions with players on the LA Galaxy website.
