The special adopt-a-family evening is for the Kings game against the Carolina Hurricanes on Dec. 9. Local families are being sponsored by Kings players and will have a chance to skate on Kings Holiday Ice at L.A. Live prior to watching the game in a suite. Then after the game, families will open presents in the suite and meet Kings players. The evening is being assisted by the Child Abuse Prevention Center.
