The Los Angeles Kings announced on Oct. 31 that there will be additional Kings features during the Kings television broadcasts on Saturday nights on FOX Sports West. The features are part of a series called "Hockey Night in Los Angeles".

During the features, celebrity guests will be interviewed, live music acts during an outdoor fan fest will be showcased, and Kings alumni will be very active in the broadcast. The Kings alumni include Derek Armstrong and Jarrett Stoll, who will debate issues related to the Kings and the National Hockey League and Teddy Purcell, who will host a new video series. There will also be features of youth hockey in southern California and a new in-arena Saturday night video.

The first celebrity guest will be Eric Stonestreet, who plays the character Cameron Tucker on Modern Family, when the Kings host the Columbus Blue Jackets at the Staples Center on Nov. 3 (Tickets). The next celebrity guest will be radio host Kevin Ryder when the Kings host the Calgary Flames at the Staples Center on Nov. 10 (Tickets).

The Kings also announced on Oct. 31 that two celebrities will be performing the anthem in upcoming games. Mike Yung, who is known for his performances of "Thinking out Loud" and "Don't Give up on Me" on the program "America's Got Talent" in 2017, will sing the Star Spangled Banner prior to the Kings games against the Blue Jackets on Nov. 3 and opera singer Daniel Emmet, who also starred on America's Got Talent in 2018, will sing the national anthems of "O Canada" and "the Star Spangled Banner" prior to the Kings game against the Flames on Nov. 10.
