The Los Angeles Kings are offering tickets to their home game against the Dallas Stars at the Staples Center on April 7 to a child aged six to 13 who has shown leadership in his community. For a chance to win two tickets on Fan Appreciation Night and a game-used stick from a Kings player, please click here.

The tickets are being awarded through the Kings G.O.A.L.S. program. Through this interesting initiative, children learn the importance of green solutions (environmentalism), keeping an open outlook, maintaining an active body, becoming a local leader and developing a sharp mind.

Leadership is a very important quality for the Los Angeles Kings. The Kings current captain is Anze Kopitar, who has had a magnificent National Hockey League season. Kopitar has had a breakout year with a career high 91 points and has been in the conversation for the Hart Trophy.

The Kings meanwhile are headed to the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs after failing to make the playoffs a year ago. At 96 points, the Kings are currently in fourth place in the Pacific Division with two games left on their regular season schedule.
