The Los Angeles Kings will have pride night on March 1 against the Columbus Blue Jackets at the Staples Center. The Kings are offering a special pride night ticket package for only $40.

The Kings are welcoming people from the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community to attend and all other fans to celebrate Pride Night. Fans who buy the ticket package starting at $40, receive a pair of LA Kings pride night socks. Meanwhile, in other packages, fans have the opportunity to purchase an LA Kings swim cap, or a LA Kings gym towel. There is also a wine fest and the Kings Care Foundation is having a book drive.

The Kings are currently in fourth place in the Pacific Division with 71 points. However, they are not currently in a playoff spot because they have fewer points than the fifth-place team in the Central Division, the St. Louis Blues, who are at 72 points. The Kings are also only two points back of the Anaheim Ducks for third place in the Pacific Division. The Blue Jackets have the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference at the moment with 65 points.
