Lana Del Rey is the cover girl from the very first issue of the new L'Officiel USA magazine and the story includes a very unique twist to an interview. Instead of a journalist sitting down and asking Del Rey questions, L'Officiel USA had numerous celebrities who were fans of Del Rey ask her the questions, giving fans a great look at the iconic singer.
Included in the celebs asking Del Rey questions was reality TV star Kim Kardashian West, grunge singer Courtney Love, rock and roll icon Stevie Nicks, John Lennon's son Sean Ono Lennon, and many more. There were even fan questions submitted that Del Rey answered at the end.
As expected, the job of the interviewer played into the questions they asked. Kardashian West asked about how Del Rey was able to turn classic retro dress styles into her own unique look. Love asked her favorite songs on her playlist right now, and Del Rey paid respect to Love with a Hole song, as well as name-dropping Janis Joplin, A$AP Rocky and the Eagles.
Stevie Nicks asked some personal questions about what they plan on doing together this summer and then moved into asking what Del Rey finds different about her new album Lust for Life (happy feelings). Lennon asked if there was a decline coming for pop music, and Del Rey admitted that there might be a connection in the decline in civilization.
Fans of Lana Del Rey can catch her in a number of big concerts across the United States in 2018 in support of Lust for Life. AXS has tickets available for shows in San Diego on Feb. 15 (buy tickets here), Las Vegas on Feb. 16 (buy tickets here) and an upcoming concert in Kansas City as well (buy tickets here).
