Lana Del Rey recently released her fifth studio album Lust for Life which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, her second chart topper. The songwriter is currently in Europe promoting the new record before she comes back to North America to hit the road. On Sept. 8, she will visit the Santa Barbara Bowl in Santa Barbara, Calif. after tweeting how much she adores the venue.
"On Sept 8 I'll be playing Santa Barbara Bowl, one of the most gorgeous venues in the country!" she wrote in the tweet on Aug. 15.
Pre-sale tickets for the event begin on Aug. 18 at 10:00 a.m. PDT with the general sale beginning on Aug. 19 also at 10:00 a.m. PDT. Prices range from $49.50 to $59.50 and is brought to fans by Goldenvoice Presents. AXS has tickets for the event at the Santa Barbara Bowl here.
Del Rey's Lust for Life began on the Top 200 with a solid 107,000 total units, a decent number in today's current musical landscape. The set sold 80,000 copies in actual sales while the rest of the total is made up of streaming and track sales units. The album also became her third No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart. In Feb. 2017, she released the single "Love," a song that sparked interest in the trip-hop singer releasing new music within the year.
In April, Del Rey released "Lust for Life," the album's title track, which features The Weeknd. There has yet to be a new U.S. single release since "Lust" while two other songs have been released in Europe to carry the album including "Summer Bummer."
