Lance Bass says *NSYNC reunion is finally happening

For fans who have been anxiously awaiting an *NSYNC reunion, Lance Bass makes it sound like those dreams are finally coming true. In an interview with InStyle magazine (via iHeartRADIO), Bass said that the band is planning to get together in just a few months. According to bass, the reunion will come after the band receives their Hollywood Walk of Fame star.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame announcement came in 2016 and Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick and Justin Timberlake will finally get that honor this year. Bass said that the band will plan their celebration to kick off around the time they get their star.

*NSYNC broke up in 2002 after releasing only three albums but built up a huge fan following during the three years they were active. Justin Timberlake kept the band in everyone's memories with his impressive solo career as well. While their last album was the 2001 release Celebrity, *NSYNC is celebrating their Walk of Fame honor with a new album this year with Home for Christmas, a holiday treat for their fans.

Bass said that he still talks to all the members of *NSYNC in a group-text. While he said that the *NSYNC reunion is coming in a few months, he also made sure to emphasize this was not a "proper reunion," although he did say that is something he will never rule out.
