Lane 8, aka Daniel Goldstein, will unleash his melodic electronica on audiences on a 35-date global tour. The Denver-based artist will tour in early 2018 in support of his forthcoming sophomore album Little by Little, an effort said to "traverse reflective electronica, instrumental club epics and leftfield pop moments alike," and led by the single "No Captain" feat. POLIÇA (listen above).
Recognized for his hit singles "Midnight," "Fingerprint" and a remix of Rüfüs du Sol's "Innerbloom," Lane 8 is also known for his idiosyncratic live experience, which enforces a no-phones, no-filming concept.
Little By Little follows his 2015 full-length debut Rise and serves as a continued testament to his appreciation of the album format. "Maybe it's because I grew up on albums, but I've always felt that a good album tells a story and creates an experience that is impossible to replicate with a run of single tracks alone - no matter how good they are," Goldstein explained in a press release. The full-length is both the result, and a celebration, of its process.
"Throughout this year, I found a lot of joy in focusing on each little task achieved, each small accomplishment that pushed me one step closer to the goal of making another album - another experience - that I was really proud of. In a way, I think that's what this album is all about - taking the time to appreciate each small step in a larger journey."
