Lee Fields and The Expressions release 'Make the World' video
Big Crown Records

People probably have different ideas about what will make the world a better place, but we can probably all agree that making the world better is an admirable goal. Lee Fields and The Expressions have released a video with their ideas to make the world better.

The song is pure soul - reminiscent of the soul music of the 70s. It's hard not to think about James Brown when you hear the horns. Meanwhile, the rhythm will get you moving. The message of the lyrics also hearkens back to the 70s. The main message of the song is that "we can make the world better if we come together". It's hard to argue with that.

The video shows the band (including two people drumming on paint buckets) in a subway as well as on a street. Mixed in is some footage of protestors marching at various points in American history - including the protests since Trump became president. The message is powerful, yet the video is pretty fun. One thing is certain: your world will get a little bit better if you watch this video. Don't be surprised if you watch it more than once.
