Legacy Fighting Alliance has a stacked schedule set for the first month of 2018, according to a press release sent out by AXS TV Fights on Dec. 14.
The Houston-based promotion kicks off the new year with a star-studded event on Jan. 12 in Costa Mesa, Calif. "LFA 30," which emanates from Costa Mesa's historic Hangar at the OC Fair & Event Center, has a barn-burner of a headliner in Curtis Millender vs. Nick Barnes.
The hotly-anticipated welterweight main event is the perfect way for Legacy Fighting Alliance to celebrate the unique milestone of being the fastest pro MMA promotion to 30 events. Just one week after "LFA 30," the promotion heads to Phoenix's Comerica Theater with a main event pitting featherweight standouts Bobby Moffett and Thanh Le against each other.
Later in the month, Legacy Fighting Alliance hits the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino in Lake Charles, La., with a middleweight collision featuring Brendan Allen and Anthony Hernandez. The "LFA 32" card has a co-main of Ryan Spann vs. Alex Nicholson in light heavyweight action.
Additional bouts for all three "LFA" cards in January are expected to be announced in the days and weeks ahead. All three events will air live on AXS TV Fights. East Coast shows will begin at 9 p.m. EST, while the West Coast events go live on air at 7 p.m. PST.
AXS TV Fights will have an all-star commentary team for three shows, as color commentator Pat Miletich is back in the broadcast booth alongside Ron Kruck. Phoenix Carnevale will conduct post-fight backstage interviews, among other duties.
