There are plenty of rappers who are looking for their fifteen minutes of stardom. Lil Xan has found his spotlight and is planning on not letting it go anytime soon. For those unfamiliar with Lil Xan, here’s some background on an MC that many should give their ears to.

Born Diego Leanos, Lil Xan acquired his love of hip-hop growing up in Redlands, California, a suburb of San Bernardino. Taking his sound from such modern legends as Drake, Pharrell, and Queens of the Stone Age, Xan began to make headways on his career. In 2017, Xan released his first single, “Betrayed,” and it became a surprise hit on the Billboard Hot 100, stalling out at No. 64.

In April of this year, Xan released his debut LP, Total Xanarchy, which quickly sailed up the Billboard 200, hitting number 10 and confirming Xan that his time has indeed arrived. Xan isn’t resting on his laurels, though, as he is scheduled to release the mixtape Heartbreak Soldier sometime this year. While fans wait for the mixtape, Xan will be busy entertaining fans on the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour, hitting cities from coast to coast to bring fans a taste of the “Xanarchy” that will hit the nation starting in September.
