While everyone is eagerly awaiting the release of Busta Rhymes’ new album, the master MC decided to drop a little morsel of musical goodness to hold fans over. His collaboration with Big Ali and French DJ/producer R-Wan for the song, “Bottles Up,” has yielded a dancefloor-friendly vibe you can definitely nod your head to.
The hip-hop infused EDM track, which dropped on July 6, is on R-Wan’s label, Restricted Records. R-Wan’s productions have been supported by artists such as Calvin Harris and David Guetta, while some of his past partnerships have included other hip-hop heavyweights such as Snoop Dogg and Lil Jon.
In fact, it was his prior work with rapper Big Ali that led to this latest collaboration. Ali and Busta Rhymes are known to have run into each other a couple times in clubs, which is what seems to have sparked the inspiration behind, “Bottles Up.”
The track is just enough to quench your thirst for some brand new Busta – at least for now.
